Trelissick Gardens is a National Trust attraction that boasts beautiful views of the River Fal Estuary on its own peninsula on the edge of Truro.
The 300-acre estate has its own countryside, woodlands and coast, perfect for walks in spring and summer when the 30-acres of gardens are vibrant with hydrangeas, rhododendrons, ginger lilies, camellias and woodland plants. In winter and autumn you can wrap up warm and enjoy the changing of the seasons in its rawest form.
Trelissick also features its own renowned art gallery, showcasing art from a range of Cornish artists. You don’t have to worry about a picnic either as there is an on-site café offering light refreshments, hot lunch and afternoon teas.
