Tucked away in the back streets of Truro, where Kenwyn Street meets St Dominic Street, is Tabb’s Restaurant, ran by chef patron Nigel Tabb. The restaurant has been in Truro for over ten years, having previously been found in Portreath.

The two AA rosette awarded establishment is a popular fine dining destination for Truro residents and visitors alike. This is largely due to Nigel’s attention to detail, with everything served on a plate being handmade in the restaurant. The chefs lovingly prepare everything, from fresh bread to after meal chocolates.

Nigel is at the top end of Cornish dining because he keeps it all in-house. In London he learned his trade in busy restaurants where basic skills like baking, butchering and fish mongering laid the foundations for bigger things.
