We couldn't have picked better.
This B&B is an absolute delight. Comfortable rooms, great food, beautiful gardens and a lovely view over the river. A few minutes into Truro, great for exploring the surrounding area. Marilyn and John were gracious hosts and couldn't have been more helpful. If we ever get back to Cornwall it will be the place to stay
A perfect place from which to explore Cornwall
A wonderful place to stay. The house and rooms are charming and tastefully put together with high quality standard. The garden is beautiful with a view to the estuary. One can tell this is a owner room place with the attention to details that only an owner can give.
The most luxurious B&B for the price.
Marylin and Jon are very proud of their property and demonstrated not only great hospitality but also good taste in everything.I would not mind to have bathroom like that in my home. The property is very clean and beautifully designed. Bathrooms are super clean, modern and well furnished. We loved breakfast as well. Marylin's eggs Florentine or Benedict were on part with fancy hotels' fair.
You couldn't ask for more
The hosts, facilities, location and atmosphere is second to none. My friends and I stayed for four nights and were really reluctant to leave. Marilyn and Jon were excellent hosts, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were great, we can recommend all of it, especially the home made rhubarb and vanilla jam, yum. The garden is lovely and the views are exceptional.
The Old Vicarage was fabulous, We didn't want to leave! Our room was facing the Estuary and their beautiful gardens, it's just a lovely idyllic setting and you wouldn't know you were only a couple of miles away from Truro.
